Gladiators are led onto the playoff field by #27 Isaiah Ray, #42 Ethan Mark and #75 Todd Hill follows close behind during their game on Nov. 4.
Gladiators fell in the first round of the playoffs Friday night against Skyline with a final score of 48-13. Despite the disappointment, the team had a successful season with many accomplishments.
Meanwhile, the Trojans and Grizzlies both had big wins. See photo coverage of games pages 12-14.
FOOTBALL
MESA RIDGE (MRHS)
The Grizzlies won 49-21 when they hosted Monarch High School last Friday (Nov. 4) in one 4A League 4 game.
They finished the week 8-3 overall and 2nd in league.
WIDEFIELD (WHS)
The Gladiators lost 48-13 when they played against Skyline High School last Friday (Nov. 4) in one 4A League 8 game.
They finished the week 9-2 overall and 1st in league.
FOUNTAIN-FORT CARSON (FFCHS)
The Trojans won 42-14 when they hosted Eaglecrest High School last Friday (Nov. 4) in one 5A League 6.
They finished the week 8-3 overall and 4th in league.
