Serving the less fortunate this Thanksgiving

COLORADO SPRINGS - From left to right, Col. Sean M. Brown, commander, U.S. Army Garrison Fort Carson, his daughter Amelia Brown, wife Erica Brown and daughter Aisling Brown put food on plates to serve the less fortunate at a Salvation Army in Colorado Springs on Nov. 24. Culinary specialists from Fort Carson volunteered to cook the food over a three-day span. In all they prepared 2,500 meals with 250 turkeys, 10 cases of green beans and vegetables, eight cases of dressing/stuffing and 220 pounds of mashed potatoes.
